Venue Dressing At Hever Castle

Whether it’s the stately grandeur of the castle itself ,the classic country house atmosphere of the Astor Wing or the stunning lakeside location of the Italian Garden, Hever Castle offers a Kent wedding venue to suit all your wedding day dreams.

We have been Hever Castle recommended decorator for over 8 years. We would love to share our decorating experience with you to help you shape your perfect wedding at Hever Castle

The Astor wing & Castle are both beautiful wedding venues, both are beautifully decorated in a Regal style. This isn’t a comment that any venue decorator ever really wants to say but both areas are beautiful in their own right, however both can be subtlety enhanced with delicate finishing touches.

We have chair covers that fit the bespoke chairs in both room. If you are working with a strong colour pallet, covering the chairs can be a good idea. The chairs have a tapestry pattern that can clash with certain colour themes.

Candelabra centrepieces with trailing floral arrangement fit the castle theme perfectly and both rooms have beautiful fire places which look beautiful dressed with fresh flowers

Such a grand venue really suits elegant finished touches, why not take a look at our hand made place cards.

The moat restaurant is used for evening parties following a wedding in the Astor wing and Castle. The space is a busy café by day however with a touch of decoration it can be turned into a wonderful evening wedding venue.

Wall draping can be used to cover the coffee machines and any wall spaces. We can light these drapes with LED uplighters to create colour washed walls in any colour.

The café has 3 ceiling peaks, some or all of these can be dressed with white ceiling drapes and fairy lights to create a magical fairy light ceiling.
The room usually has 40 chairs for your guests and the café chairs are really improved with a chair cover and sash.
In the summer months your guest will use the outside tables and benches as much as they use the inside so why not think about dressing them with candle lanterns.

The Loggia is the beautiful outside ceremony area which overlooks the lake. A beautiful place to get married. The chairs at the logia are gold with red seat pads, many brides decide to cover them with white covers if red and gold does not work with their theme.

If you get married in the Loggia then your wedding breakfast will be held in the Pavilion Restaurant. This space is a café during the day but lends itself perfectly to wedding receptions in the afternoon. Some key decoration points include, using a white star light curtain to cover the café shutters, this block out the one piece of the room that looks like a café. Using the star light curtain we can also create a hidden area which can be used as a cloak room. There are 11 internal pillars around the room which look beautiful dressed with fairy lights or foliage garlands and lights.

Outside we are able to offer beautiful fairy lights on the pillars around the patio.
